El Campo originates in Callayuc, in the province of Cutervo (Cajamarca, northern Peru), at an altitude of 1800 to 2000 meters above sea level. This area, marked by protected cloud forests and micro-watersheds that sustain the local ecosystem, is cultivated by five producers who work small plots at altitude, growing Yellow and Red Caturra along with Pache. The combination of warm mountain climate, fertile soils, and a main harvest between June and September allows for the development of coffees with clean structure and mature sweetness.
