San Juan La Laguna, Sololá, Guatemala
A washed coffee from San Juan La Laguna in the Sololá department of Guatemala, grown between 1,200 and 1,400 metres by smallholder families organised in a cooperative on the shores of Lake Atitlán. Cherries are hand-picked, depulped, fermented with local water and slowly sun-dried on concrete patios. Scored 84 and roasted for espresso, it has a medium-high body and medium acidity.
