The La Lía micromill, operated by brothers Oscar Adolfo and Luis Alberto Monge, is located in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. The mill, named after their mother, was built in 2007. The Monge family has been involved in coffee farming for over 70 years across three generations. The mill utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and sustainable practices to produce high-quality coffee beans. The region's rich volcanic soil and cooler microclimate contribute to the coffee's bright acidity and nutty undertones.
