The story of Cafe Ixchel began in 1975 with Senor Adan Duke growing Arabica coffee at Finca San Isidro in the mountains of south Copan Ruinas, Honduras. The farm has transitioned to specialty coffee with a focus on women's empowerment in the production process. The Anaerobic Red Honey Process enhances the coffee's natural sweetness and acidity.
