Oropendolas is a collective effort by seven farms in the mountainous El Paraiso region of Honduras, led and processed by veteran farmer Moises Sosa using local labour and community knowledge. Grown at altitudes up to 2000 metres, the coffee is washed, fermented for one day, and dried on patios and raised beds. The lot captures the tradition of Honduran washed smallholder coffee.
