Zonegediyo, Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia
This specialty coffee lot from southern Ethiopia comes from the Yirgacheffe region, specifically the Zonegediyo district. One of the best things about Ethiopian coffees is the complete mix of varietals. It is estimated that there are somewhere between six thousand and ten thousand varieties naturally in these highlands, the origin of coffee, with the cross-pollination of genetics being truly remarkable. Delicious for filter coffee or enjoyed as an espresso.
