This inviting coffee is roasted lightly to preserve its floral aroma and balanced acidity. The Keffa Zone is where the fabled goat herder first observed caffeinated goats eating coffee cherries. Bitta farm, located here, processes coffee cherries through sorting, de-pulping, fermenting, washing, and drying on raised beds. The owner, Mahabub Awol, has extensive experience in coffee export, enhancing traceability and quality control. Recent changes in Ethiopian export rules have allowed for more direct relationships and social impact projects.
