This coffee comes from the Guji area in the Oromia region of southern Ethiopia, between 1950 and 2000 meters above sea level. The inhabitants are mostly Oromo, a people with their own language and culture, who have been cultivating coffee for generations. It is grown on small family plots where producers work with heirloom varieties, a unique genetic heritage that is part of the wild biodiversity of these lands.
