El Obraje, located in the mountains of the Nariño department, has transitioned from an apple orchard to a coffee estate, now cultivating coffee on 25 of its nearly 100 hectares. The farm utilizes a mix of organic and chemical fertilizers and has adapted to its unique microclimate influenced by volcanic mountains and varying temperatures. The coffee undergoes a Washed process, including fermentation and drying on raised beds or mechanical dryers, contributing to its distinct cup profile.
