Sugarcane decaffeination is a process that uses ethyl acetate, an organic compound extracted from sugarcane as well as other fruit juices. This process soaks the green coffee in a water & ethyl acetate bath, after washing with water. Located in a biological Conservation Corridor, Valle del Cauca lies between the National Park of Tatama and 'serrania de los paraguas'.
