The SL-14 and SL-28 coffees from Uganda are varieties of Coffea arabica typically grown in the Rwenzori Mountains and the Bugisu region, presenting different but complementary flavor profiles. SL-28 is noted for its exceptional quality and bright, complex acidity (fruity, floral, and citrus notes), while SL-14 is appreciated for its drought resistance and good yield, offering a cup with a more moderate flavor, sometimes with a more intense sweetness. This is a naturally processed lot cultivated by between 300 and 500 small farmers in the Rwenzori Mountains, at altitudes between 1400 and 2000 m.
